Compressors manufacturer, Bitzer, released new software this week to help contractors select the right low GWP (global warming potential) refrigerants for current or planed refrigeration systems.
The software shows the impact the refrigerants will have on compressor performance. Furthermore, the semi-hermetic ECOLINE screw compressors of the HSK/HSN series, using R448A (N-40) and R449A (XP40), can be designed using the software.
The Bitzer software makes it easier for contractors to use and design refrigeration systems. Engineers can quickly calculate performances and adjust components using a virtualised refrigeration system on screen. By changing inputs, users can set specific parameters and easily assess different operating conditions.
Users can select individual Bitzer compressors on the display to see each unit’s data. This means engineers can gather important technical information, calculations and individual compressor performance tables. The data can be printed or saved to PDF.
