Industrial refrigeration equipment manufacturer, Cofely, announced the addition of its water-cooled chiller series, Quantum G, which use R1234ze refrigerant, which have a cooling capacity of up to 2 megawatts (MW).
The water-cooled Quantum G series came onto the market late in 2014 to meet the growing demand for environmentally friendly, energy efficient refrigeration systems. The new series also features an oil-free compressor system, like its forerunner, the Quantum series. The Quantum G cooling capacity has also increased from 1.1 MW to 2 MW.
Air-Cooled Quantum G Soon
Cofely announced that an air-series of the Quantum G would be on the market by the end of 2015. The air-cooled range will use R1234ze refrigerant (GWP <1), which means, under EU F-Gas regulation 517/2014, there is need for leak checks.
