R22 - ICEtemp

If you would like to get tickets to the 2015 Rugby World Cup, do this - provide R22 collection data to Toshiba Air Conditioning.

Toshiba launched its R22 data collection initiative to find out how many systems containing the banned refrigerant in the UK and Ireland.

Contractors, installers, end users and consultants can give their feedback to Toshiba. By doing so, they get the chance to win tickets to the Rugby World Cup. The tournament takes place this autumn in the UK.

Toshiba Air Conditioning’s UK boss, David Dunn said, “We believe there are a significant number of air conditioning systems still operating on R22 across the country. End users may be unaware of their exposure following the final phase-out of R22 for service use at the end of [2014].”

The company wants to work out the size of the R22 problem in the UK and Ireland. It can help customers whose systems might be cooling buildings or ‘critical infrastructure’.

Toshiba will run three ticket draws in January February and March. Winners will win two tickets each.
