Lack of Skilled Labour and Price Competition Worries European Installers

Installers across Europe are worried about the shortage of skilled labour and competition on price in the market, recent research from the USP Marketing Consultancy shows.

Right across the construction sector, business owners see the shortage of skilled and experienced staff as a big cause for slow business growth in the near future.

Germany is the most concerned European country with 75% of respondents saying their worried about how difficult it is to find skilled labour.

As a result of the skilled labour shortage, manufacturers are beginning to make products which are easier to install. Ironically, it seems that this is making their products more of a commodity which is driving competition on price up.
